Thailand’s first Moxy hotel is opening in Ratchaprasong in early 2024 and here’s your first look. Set on the upper floors of The Market shopping center, a new brick-fronted building located opposite centralwOrld, this new lifestyle boutique hotel, which reflects Moxy’s brand standards—young, fun, vibrant, and affordable—features 504 rooms across 32 floors, making it the largest of its kind in the Asia Pacific once fully open.

Rooms start small, though, with the standard type measuring a scant 18 square meters. However, clever interior design makes them all look—and feel—spacious enough for comfortable stays. Each room boasts a huge window that lets natural light in and offers views of busy streets, bustling shopping centers, and nearby green spaces. Pay a bit more and upgrade to a corner room or a suite (called a Deluxe here) for a larger (by Moxy standards) room area and more windows.

The hotel’s lobby, sitting on the 9th floor, is the main stage for social activities. It features a bar that doubles as a check-in counter, an all-day dining space, a grab-and-go food counter, gym, a row of sizable lockers (ideal for early check-ins), and a leisure area with a massive balcony that looks out to panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline. Hint: It will be the perfect spot for viewing New Year’s Eve fireworks as it overlooks one of Bangkok’s largest countdown parties at centralwOrld.

Rates are yet to be confirmed, but we’re pegging them to be around USD100 per night. Moxy Ratchaprasong is expected to open in the first quarter of 2024.
