Last year, Sticky Monster Lab’s little troublemakers filled Central Embassy over the holidays. This year’s lot are furrier, and one has a serious cookie habit. For the first time in Thailand, Elmo and his Sesame Street friends star in Season of Giving 2027: Holiday Mode On!, running from November 17 to January 10, 2027.
Start at the Front Yard on the ground floor, where a Christmas tree stands more than 15 metres tall with Elmo and the gang lined up at its base.
Commuters get a head start. The Festive Beginning sits at the first-floor link to Phloen Chit BTS, so the walk home may take a few extra minutes. One floor up, the walkway to Central Chidlom becomes The Celebration Gateway, a Sesame Street Subway Station styled like an underground platform. Probably the only station in Bangkok where nobody minds missing a train.
Between snaps, book a Cookie Monster Class or a Christmas ornament workshop, or bring your shopping bags to the Gift Wrapping Station and wrap presents in Sesame Street prints.
Families with small kids should head to Open House on the sixth floor, where The Cookie Tower and Big Bird’s Nest fill the Open Play zone, ball pit included.
