Silpa Bhirasri National Museum has reopened for a rare two-month run –  and it is well worth making time for.

“Rak Nakara: The Path of Rattanakson’ traces Rattanakosin’s history through the work of Silpa Bhirasri, widely regarded as the father of modern Thai art – part history lesson, part art exhibition.

The special opening also includes the Hall of Master Sculptures, bringing prototype sculptures from across the country together under one roof. A stamp-collecting activity runs throughout, too, if you need an excuse to explore every corner.

Where: Silpa Bhirasri National Museum (Memorial) and the Hall of Master Sculptures

Tickets: Free entry

Runs until: September 20 2026

Hours: Wednesday-Sunday, 9am-4pm
