The Meteorological Department has issued a statement detailing the weather forecast for the coming weeks. The wet season has ended and the cool season has arrived since October 29—and will most likely stick around until the end of February 2023. During this time, Bangkok may just see temps going down to 17 to 18 degrees Celsius.

But cooler temperatures aren’t always a good thing. The high pressure brings in polluted microparticles, better known as PM2.5, which can cause damage to the respiratory system when inhaled. As expected, the BMA announced a mild warning about the return of these fine particles. Guess we’re back to wearing masks outdoors.
