The World’s 50 Best Bars for 2023 announced: two Bangkok bars made the list

The results for the World’s 50 Best Bars are in, announced live from the very first awards ceremony in Asia at Pasir Panjang in Singapore. The top spot has been awarded to the crown jewel of Barcelona, Sips! Coming in second and third are Double Chicken Please in New York and Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico.

The highest-ranking Thai bar on the list is the Four Seasons’ BKK Social Club, which also helms the status of Asia’s best bar on this list, while Mahaniyom makes us proud with a debut at No. 19.

The World’s 50 Best Bars is one of the most respected awards in the drinking industry, marking the pinnacle of all 50 Best rankings. The results were compiled from industry experts and insiders and were reviewed by Deloitte before being revealed.
