More and more, Bangkok is becoming a destination for top-tier travel. Singapore-branded Carlton Hotel is on the rise on Sukhumvit, offering more accommodation options to business travelers. The hotel will also be home to Wah Lok, a restaurant known for its scrumptious Cantonese fare.

Over in Sathorn, the Orient Express Mahanakhon Bangkok converts the legendary train experience into a luxurious hotel stay within the towering King Power Mahanakhon building. French architect Tristan Auer is tasked to inject a more contemporary feel into the timeless elegance the historic train is known for.

The competition gets fiercer than ever by the river as two hospitality giants start taking in visitors early next year. Bangkok’s first Capella hotel offers a riverside oasis with villa and suite offerings that come with unobstructed views of the Chao Phraya River. The hotel will be pampering guests with a wide selection of Asian-inspired treatments at its Auriga Wellness spa.
