No more rushing to the supermarket to grab bottles of wine at the last minute for your house party. The new smartphone application Virtual Wine Cellar (V|C) makes your life easier by delivering your selected bottles right to your doorstep within two hours.
Launched by Wine Merchant Company (the same folks that are responsible for the extensive wine list at La Casa Nostra), Virtual Wine Cellar gives you access to the company's globe-spanning wine collection via the user-friendly interface which categorizes wines into countries of origin and tasting notes. Unlike the store experience, you will also learn about the vineyards where the bottles are produced, as well as ratings given by the acclaimed wine critics.
The app is available for download on App Store, and will be ready for Android users soon.
