Last Valentine's Day, you were probably in awe of "romantic" helicopter flights in Bangkok sky (when it wasn't hazy) offered by The Peninsula Bangkok. This year, the luxury hotel returns to wow lovebirds with an oh-so-exclusive cruise along the Chao Phraya River on a three-bedroom, 76-foot-long yacht. Taking place only on 14 Feb, the Luxe & Amour Champagne Valentine’s Day Cruise invites couples (with deep pockets) to sail along Chao Phraya River to enjoy magnificent views of the iconic riverside landmarks such as Temple of Dawn and Grand Palace with a glass of Champagne and cocktails in your hands.

The 80-minute cruise will be followed by an afternoon tea at the hotel's lobby, where you feast on sweet and savory delights crafted by the hotel's executive pastry chef Nicolas Pelloie. Highlights of the set include Valrhona chocolate, red velvet cake, lychee marshmallow and strawberry rose tart served alongside cucumber and mint finger sandwich, English mustard and cooked ham on white toast bread, homemade smoked salmon on pumpernickel bread and chef's signature brioche.

The cruise-cum-afternoon tea is priced at B25,888 per couple, and for this price you'll need to share the vessel with two other couples. Instead of an afternoon tea, you can also opt for an international buffet dinner at River Café & Terrace, and that would instead cost you B30,888 per couple. You can also book the entire yacht for yourself at B88,888 per couple, which comes with a curated six-course dinner at Paribatra lounge. Feeling for something more spectacular? The hotel can also organize a firework display at your request (with additional cost).
