Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Plant-based cult favorite Broccoli Revolution has just opened its third outpost in Charoenkrung. This new branch blends in with the district’s trendy leanings, boasting a clean and modern design grounded by white walls, exposed ceiling beams and black, marble-topped tables. A sunroof over one part of the room allows natural sunlight to filter in during the day.

More Asian dishes are served at this branch compared to other branches. Get your protein fix with the Tofu Satay (B135), a Broccoli Revolution staple that that comes with peanut satay sauce and ar jad (sliced cucumbers and onions in vinegar.) Another must-try is the Cauliflower Dynamite Maki (B135), which rolls chickpeas, veggies, Japanese rice, and brown rice in fried seaweed. Each roll is topped with cauliflower and eryngii mushroom mixed with siracha sauce, soy mayo and fish roe-reminiscent soy sauce. The Teriyaki Hamburger with Brown Rice (B200) looks just like a real meat burger. The patty is made of chickpeas, sweet potato, and mixed grains, and comes topped with teriyaki sauce. For something more local, try the the Pad Thai with Brown Rice Chia Seed Noodles (B150), a vegan version of the Thai food staple but with a nutritious twist.

Cold-pressed juices are an important part of Broccoli Revolution’s menu, and are made with organic fruits and vegetables. Those in need of detoxing can go for the Turmeric Ginger Lime (B120), while those who want their greens in liquid form can try Juice No.1 (B190), which has kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, green apple, ginger and lime. A percentage of every bottle sold goes to the Sati Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps improve healthcare and education for underprivileged children in Thailand.

Dessert at this branch and other Broccoli Revolution branches are provided by small bakeries and suppliers such as Theera, a social practice that works with kids with special needs.
