Junice Smoothie

What is it? A cute little smoothie spot in GUMP’s Ari with a story to match. The name fuses juice and nice. The J gives a quiet shout to the family’s tamarind snack line, Jeed Jad.

Why we love it: Taking tamarind – a staple of Thai pantries – and spinning it into something that tastes entirely international is a proper achievement. The ‘tamarind splash’ finds that sweet-sour balance and is lifted by wild honey. For those who lean sweet, ‘strawberry yogurt biscoff’ offers a slightly sugary but indulgent layer of smoothie pleasure, layered with a special cream cheese that makes it almost too pretty to stir.

Time Out tip: Biscoff obsessives, this one's for you – the crumble topping is generous. Stir the cream cheese layers in slowly and enjoy watching it all come together.
