The Chang Chui outpost of Thé tea salon from Hua Hin

A trip to Hua Hin wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Thé, the tea specialist store at the FN shopping outlet whose dramatic setting is fodder for many an Instagram post. Now, you won’t have to wait until your next beachside holiday to experience the tea salon’s charms as the first Bangkok outpost makes an appearance in Chang Chui.

While the Hua Hin branch’s museum-like space wows with intricate wood-crafted Mogul-style arches and stuffed wildlife creatures, the Chang Chui venues tones down the drama to suit a much smaller space. Popular French gourmet tea brand Marriage Frère takes center stage at Thé. We particularly love the aromatic Marco Polo black tea (B190/a pot), the brand’s signature blend best sipped with indulgent cakes like the Opera (B140) or the mango and passionfruit cake (B140). For the complete posh tea experience, go for the afternoon tea set, which features small pastries of the day and a drink of your choice (B650 for the small set/B890 for the big set).

Thé at Chang Chui also serves bistro-style bites such as croissant stuffed with Serrano ham and burrata (B170) and grilled sea bass (B530).
