Spend your afternoon with small bites and aromatic tea in the courtyard of a colonial-style building that was built in 1889. Afternoon tea at The Courtyard in The House on Sathorn is a posh affair, serving freshly baked scones, cakes, muffins, tarts and eclairs with TWG tea.

Very much over-rated. Would not return. Very ordinary and quite mean with the serving for two: one serving only for two people. For example only one scone per person. Extra costs 90 baht each scone. Service is very basic. Staff has no warmth and inattentive, and more than a bit short. Appear not to be aware of the customer. Plenty of time for gossiping though! I had to ask for a linen napkin instead of a paper tissue, and also for a spoon and a knife. They dont seem to be well trained.
Unusual setting and furnishings. Pleasant garden and veranda.
Wont go back in a hurry. Many real excellent afternoon teas to be found in the city.
