Bungkumhouse Records has survived long enough to become part of Thonglor’s musical backbone. Now settled on Soi 6, the shop leans heavily into 90s Britpop, indie, alternative rock, soul, funk and electronica, with a particular affection for psychedelic sounds running rom Hendrix through to Spiritualized. Weekend afternoons tend to draw exactly the sort of crowd you would hope for in a place like this: opinionated regulars, serious collectors and people happy to lose half an hour discussing pressing quality or obscure B-sides with strangers.
