Time Out says

You see the market as soon as you disembark from the ferry at Wang Lang pier. The area is known for its cheap street eats, and is frequently packed with hungry locals and intrepid tourists looking for off-thebeaten- track culinary experiences. Getting recommendations on where to eat is not difficult—just follow the queues to discover the best food stalls in the area. Near the entrance to the market, opposite Siriraj Hospital, is Wang Lang Bakery, recognizable by its red signage written in Thai. The bakery is known for its chewy loaves stuffed with fillings like raisins and sweet flossy pork. Turn right at the small junction for more famous eateries like Moo Tord Chao Wang, which churns out barbeque-flavored deep-fried pork, and Orathai Sushi, which peddles decent rice rolls. For authentic Isaan bites, check out Somtum Yupin, located in a small alley deep inside the market, opposite a gigantic spirit house.
