AIS D.C.

A collaboration between state-funded creative powerhouse TCDC and mobile network giant AIS. Together, they have injected new cool and hi-tech touch-ups to the space TCDC once occupied, and reintroduced the space as AIS Design Centre (AIS D.C.). The expansive space where TCDC’s renowned design-focused library once stood is now serving as a giant “noise allowed,” co-working space with bookshelves on one wall and windows that bring in natural light on another. Set within the space are four meeting cubicles. There are also workshop rooms, an exhibition room, a rental studio equipped with basic production tools, and—said to be the highlight—the “playground room,” in which tech startups or app developers can try their API (app programming interface).
