Watch A Useful Ghost and hear filmmakers discuss queer cinema's future
Filmmakers, producers and critics from South and Southeast Asia gather at Alliance Française Bangkok for The Future in the Frame, an afternoon of queer cinema and regional film exchange. Organised by QueerFrames Screenwriting Lab with the Embassy of France in Thailand, Alliance Française Bangkok and Purin Film Fund, the programme starts with a 2pm screening of A Useful Ghost, followed by a panel on building a sustainable queer film scene. Emerging and established practitioners discuss developing new talent, connecting filmmakers with the industry and creating opportunities for collaboration across borders.
