So 2025 was pretty huge for live music in Bangkok, wasn't it? We had Doja Cat, BLACKPINK, TV Girl, The Smashing Pumpkins and Tyler, The Creator all gracing stages across the city. Not a bad lineup.

The good news? 2026 is looking just as packed. Alright, Oasis might not be on the cards just yet, but there's still a serious roster of artists lined up to play Bangkok stadiums and arenas over the coming months. And rumour has it even more big names are yet to announce tours like BTS.

Givēon, Central Cee, Taeyong, Kraftwerk... the list goes on. Whether you're into R&B, grime, K-pop or electronic legends, there's something coming your way. Here are the best major gigs heading to the capital this year.

Givēon peddles a particular kind of devastation as a singer. What many call velvet smooth heartbreak, wrapped in a deep baritone that could make a breakup sound almost beautiful. The seven-time Grammy-nominated R&B singer has announced his first ever Thai concert. It's part of his Dear Beloved Tour, named after his second studio album Beloved, which dropped last July to critical praise and reached number eight on the Billboard 200. The new album continues mining that same vein with tracks like 'Twenties' and 'Rather Be' exploring the peculiar pain of wasted time and hindsight regret.

Givēon told Rolling Stone that Beloved 'was made live, so it's made to be performed live'. He's bringing strings, horns, background vocals and a full eight to 10 piece band to create what he describes as a 'movie-like world' on stage.

Aoba's known for pairing simple yet refined arrangements with deeply personal lyrics that feel like you've stumbled into a private universe containing just you and the music. Luminescent Creatures captures all that dreamy intensity she's famous for.

This new album takes inspiration from her travels around the Ryukyu Islands in Okinawa, where she went diving in the surrounding seas. The result is a dreamy collection that captures both the endless beauty and the thrilling unpredictability of the ocean itself.

ONE OK ROCK has been smashing it in Thailand for a decade now. The Japanese rock quartet first hit Central World Live back in 2013, then Thunder Dome in 2016 and Impact Arena in 2018. Their most recent gig on December 12 2023 sold out completely, with thousands of fans calling it one of the best shows they'd ever seen.

Now the band returns with their latest album DETOX performed live in full. Critics reckon it's their deepest and most globally ambitious record yet. Lead single Tropical Therapy has won serious praise from fans and music press alike for its raw emotion, powerful sound and genre bending approach. If their track record is anything to go by, this show is going to be massive.

After 55 years, one of electronic music's most groundbreaking acts is finally heading to Bangkok. Kraftwerk, the German pioneers who basically invented the blueprint for everything from techno to EDM. If you're not familiar, Kraftwerk have been at it since the '70s, crafting those instantly recognisable synthesiser sounds and robotic vocals that changed music forever. Their influence is everywhere: synth-pop, electro, industrial, house. Pretty much every genre that uses a drum machine owes them a debt. But what makes them special is how they stripped everything back to its essentials, creating these hypnotic, repetitive patterns that feel almost mathematical in their precision.

It's rare to catch a band this influential playing Bangkok, especially one that treats their performances like proper multimedia art installations. If you've ever wanted to experience 'Autobahn' or 'The Model' in person whilst being completely mesmerised by cutting-edge visuals, this is your moment.

King Gnu

King Gnu, one of Japan’s leading rock bands, officially announce their arrival in Bangkok with the King Gnu CEN+RAL Tour 2026. The group – Daiki Tsuneta, Yu Seki, Kazuki Arai and Satoru Iguchi – never settles for neat labels. Atlanta has a knack for producing rappers who've spent years sharpening every syllable to cut clean through noise. J.I.D is one of them, all restless energy and lyrical precision with the kind of stage presence that makes you forget to blink. He's been on music's radar since 2015, when his DiCaprio EP introduced him as the wiry, fast-talking storyteller from Atlanta's east side.

Then came the Grammy nods, the near two billion stream collaboration with Imagine Dragons, and last year's album The Forever Story. On stage he's known for something rarer though, total control. No pyrotechnics needed, just a mic and a crowd that knows every line.

Laufey

After winning over Thai fans at Summer Sonic 2024, Laufey now confirms her first solo concert here: ‘Laufey: A Matter of Time Tour in Bangkok.’ Not a bad follow-up, really. She blends jazz, classical and contemporary pop with timeless lyrics and carefully arranged melodies. The result carries both energy and emotion, giving her that quietly addictive pull audiences seem to latch onto worldwide. The tour follows her Grammy win for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for A Matter of Time at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in 2026. Her third full-length album, produced by Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner, sharpens that signature further with emotionally resonant melodies and deeply moving lyrics. With over 4.25 billion Spotify streams and 23 million followers, she’s hardly niche. Add Billboard highs, Forbes 30 Under 30 and TIME’s Women of the Year, and the picture becomes pretty clear.

It’s sure to be a belter. Named after the Japanese word for inner desires and the contrast of how you act in public, tracks like Warm on a Cold Night through to Love Me / Love Me Not make a fitting concept for Bangkok’s quietly lustful, behind-closed-doors culture. However, word from recent shows suggests a more intimate turn, with stripped back moments and a heart-forward delivery echoing how they first come together. If you went last year, expect a different side entirely.

It's been over two decades since My Chemical Romance first stitched eyeliner into the cultural fabric, and now, after years of rumour, rupture and reunion, the band is finally heading to Thailand. For those who spent their adolescence tucked inside a hoodie, humming Helena under their breath, this is more than a concert. It's collective catharsis. Formed in 2001 by Gerard Way with brother Mikey, Ray Toro and Frank Iero, My Chemical Romance rose from post-9/11 disillusionment with a sound that flitted between theatrical and feral.

Their second album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge launched them into the mainstream, but it was The Black Parade that etched their name into eyeliner-stained lore. After disbanding in 2013 with a cryptic farewell, the band returned in 2019 for a sold-out reunion in Los Angeles, then took that dark magic global.

BTS

BTS return to Thailand for the first time in over seven years as a complete group. The last time fans in Bangkok see all seven members together is during the Love Yourself World Tour back in 2019, so this is pretty massive news. The new world tour is their biggest yet, with 79 shows spanning 34 cities across five continents. It sets a new benchmark for South Korean artists performing internationally and looks set to create a serious economic boost in every city they visit.

What makes this tour particularly special is the 360-degree stage setup. The band performs right in the centre of each venue with audiences surrounding them from all sides, creating a more intimate experience whilst also fitting more people in.
