According to website www.thaihealth.or.th, in 2018, Thailand’s population of elderly people will surpass its number of children for the first time in history, accounting for one fifth of its total population.… Here the question arises as to how we can build a better society for elderly people.
Let’s explore the challenges of aging society in various aspects in “Dear Elders” Exhibition, such as personal life, health, life management and so on, and appreciate creative design works inspired by those issues, such as equipment, every day object, residence, operation system and so on. The exhibition will showcase 4 projects, outcome from the creative incubation project “Designing Impact Program 2017”, held by Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) in cooperation with KBTG, Thailand Social Innovation Platform, UNDP, and Fabcafe Bangkok, which aim at using social innovations to drive social changes, elevate quality of life and generate economic growth.
