A Grey Lens
A Gray Lens traces how we learn to understand ourselves and the world, moving through childhood, objects, material culture, change and identity. The exhibition uses the Tree of Knowledge – System, Matter, Life, Mind and Culture – as a framework for considering personal growth and everyday experience. Here, grey doesn’t simply signal sadness; it lies between happiness and melancholy, certainty and doubt. Monochrome paintings, found materials and familiar signs turn memories and ordinary observations into quiet questions about growing up.
