Time Out says

NOMANSLAND is a photographic exhibition showcasing artworks by German photographer Tobias Ahlbrecht.

Ahlbrecht has been working on the Nomansland project since 2016. The artist receives an inspiration from his close friend who went through depression, resulting in his intention to create a set of pseudo-erotic phography that explores controversial themes of mental illness, self-expression, and cultural taboos while conveying a message of self-empowerment portrayed by the subjects of each piece.

Apart from the ongoing project, Ahlbrecht will also show his Polariod collection taken during his biking trip from Vietnam to Thailand.

Guests, accordingly, will get a chance to walk through the gallery filled with emotionally-charged photos that help you reflect on yourself.

NOMANSLAND will be taking place at JAM between August 28 - September 12.
