Bringing together Pemapsorn Kritsadacharoenpong and Wannita Tankeng, Permission to Feel takes a quieter look at emotion and everyday happiness. Pemapsorn’s raised impasto works give feelings a physical presence, with thick layers of paint that invite a closer look. Wannita’s semi-abstract paintings are lighter and more fluid, using colour and movement to suggest passing moods. Together, the two approaches ask us to slow down and notice ordinary pleasures, from a good cup of coffee to a quiet moment between conversations. No grand achievement required.
