Speakerbox flips Valentine’s Day on its head with an Anti Valentine’s gathering that favours honesty over romance and raw feeling over polite smiles. Live bands all night, roaming performers and a black and red dress code that leans dramatic rather than sentimental. Guests can pick up a bow and shoot heart shaped targets, whether aimed at lost love, unresolved anger or a memory that still lingers. A private camera-ree corner offers space for quieter release, while a tongue in cheek ‘Your Ex’ target adds humour to the ritual. A special cocktail anchors the bar and conversation flows easily between strangers who understand complicated emotions. Midnight brings a heart shaped piñata, smashed without ceremony, closing an evening that treats Valentine’s less like celebration and more like collective catharsis.
