Fancy seeing a Picasso up close? Muse: Beyond Human gives your four days to see Nu couché et musicien (1967), an oil painting of a reclining nude beside a musician in Baroque-style dress. Distorted perspectives and bold brushwork show Picasso reworking European art traditions in his own style. Dib Bangkok’s exhibition, supported by Christie’s, also includes Henri Matisse’s Femme en costume oriental (1920) and contemporary works. The connecting thread is the muse: how artists transform real people into symbols, characters and personal interpretations.
October 27-30. Free entry. Dib26, 59/44 Sukhumvit Soi 26. 10am-7pm.
