MOTAS returns with a solo exhibition where the BLEYE characters have found an unexpected companion – a slightly aloof cat who prefers the safety of its cardboard box. The cat doesn’t rush to join in, yet somehow fits perfectly among them, forming a wordless understanding that feels both tender and profound. Together they exist in a kind of soft harmony, free from judgement, respecting each other’s oddities the way families and friends sometimes do without needing to explain why. The exhibition stretches this gentle idea outward – to strangers, neighbours, everyone – suggesting that coexistence isn’t about uniformity but about care. It’s an invitation to look closer at the world we share and consider how we might preserve it with a little more kindness.
October 29 onwards. Free. Curu Gallery, midday-5pm
