With sustainability one of the most important aspects in many industries, many organizations have put up the eco Christmas trees to reflect their green vision. These are some of our favorites this year.
Aside from the giant two-floor-tall Christmas tree in the lobby, InterContinental showcases another equally impressive "Reborn a Star" Christmas tree. This crystal-clear creation is made up of 1,800 flowers hand-cut and crafted from disposed plastic bottles by one of the hotel's florists. Find this stunning display at the show spot in front of the Summer Palace restaurant.
Kimpton's Christmas trees are never ordinary. In 2022, they showcased a tree made from repurposed metal, which later decomposed into smaller lamps as gifts. This year, the hip hotel partnered with Touche Bangkok to unveil a colorful Christmas tree composed of repurposed textiles and yarns.
Quiet luxury hotel Park Hyatt Bangkok lights up its warm lobby with an edgy white Christmas tree made from discarded metal by Saruta Kiatparkpoom from Pin Metal Art. Inspired by the local 'homecoming' spiritual ceremony Bai Sri Su Kwan, this creation is aimed at wishing good blessings upon hotel guests.
