As we head into Halloween season, you may have started to see candy corn popping up at the grocery store or supermarket. However, one particular brand is going through a recall of the popular orange and yellow snack.

Arcade Snacks issued a recall of its 15-ounce candy corn packages last week, per an FDA advisory. They discovered that the candy may contain an “undeclared egg”, as reported in the Boston Globe. The FDA has said that no illnesses have been reported so far.

The Arcade Snacks Candy Corn packages were being sold at a few stores in Massachusetts, including Foodie’s Markets, Donelan’s Supermarkets, Johnson Roadside Farm Market in Swansea, Fieldstone Farm Market in Marion and Windfall Market in Falmouth.

If you have purchased one of these packages of candy corn, you will be issued a full refund if you return it to the original place of purchase. The only concern with the candy that has been reported is that there may be the presence of egg in the product, so if you or someone you know has an allergy to eggs, the product should not be consumed. Consumers with questions may contact Arcade Snacks at 1-508-832-6300.
