There’s no better city in the world than Boston, right? We are huge fans of The Hub, and we are constantly canvassing the city to keep tabs on the best restaurants, coolest bars and top things to do in Boston

From London to Paris, Los Angeles to Tokyo and Mexico City to Melbourne, Time Out has always celebrated the magic of cities. Now, as we do every year, we want to work out how that magic happens. How exactly do we do that?

Meet the Time Out Index, our investigation into the reality of city living today. We want to discover what makes cities great, how city-dwellers feel about their hometown, and which are the best neighborhoods right now for going out, having fun and living city life to the full. Last year, Bostonians came in near the top of the global rankings in terms of feeling safe in their city, not being big smokers, and staying connected.

Has anything changed since then?

This is your chance to tell us all about your life in Boston—and don’t be afraid to get messy. Does dating here suck? Is it impossible to make friends? And what’s the most overrated neighborhood you can think of?

Help us find out by taking just a few minutes to complete the Time Out Index survey. It’s fully anonymous, so be honest! And once you’re done, we’ll reveal which city in the world you should live in. Ain’t that fun?

Take the survey!
