Thanksgiving is that time of year when we gather with family and friends—and wake up at 6am for the sole purpose of sticking a 25-lb turkey in the oven so that it can cook in time for dinner. For folks who simply don’t want to stress about dressing the bird, preparing a parade of side dishes and baking a pile of pies, a number of restaurants around Boston are coming to the rescue, offering full Thanksgiving dinners to-go. Whether it’s a full feast for the whole family or a couple of a la carte sides to supplement your spread, you can order festive takeout from these local eateries ahead of time and spend Thanksgiving outside of the kitchen (relaxing in unbuttoned jeans and watching football). Don’t want to celebrate at home? Dine out at one of the best restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner in Boston and check out the best ways to celebrate Thanksgiving in Boston.
