If you spend time on social media, you would have heard the viral soundbite by content creator Daiy Abrahams more than just a few times.

For those who haven't, here's when we used the hilarious bit for one of our Instagram videos:

To celebrate the virality of the soundbite and all things Cape Town, Abrahams has teamed up with The Malay Kitchen in Kenilworth Centre for the 'Only in Cape Town' burger, as you do.

The double chicken burger is smothered in Malay sauce and served with salad and chips. It will set you back R119 and is available for sit-down or takeaway.

The official launch of the burger took place recently and a clearly emotional Abrahams was there for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

While we haven't had the chance to taste-test the burger just yet, we will admit that is looks very tasty. So, if you are in the Kenilworth area, go and check it out and let us know your thoughts, because, you know, only in Cape Town...

We've just released our list of the best Wagyu burgers in Cape Town!

What is Wagyu and why is it different, you may ask?

'Wagyu refers to a group of Japanese-origin cattle breeds (Kobe is the poster child) prized for their intense fat marbling. As the meat cooks, the fat melts, basting it from the inside out. It’s heaven in a steak, but in burger form, that means more flavour, more tenderness and more crispy caramelisation on the edges,' writes our City Expert Richard Holmes.
