Farol Hotel, in Cascais, has just been distinguished with the national awards for Best Luxury Romantic Hotel in Portugal and Best Luxury Leisure Hotel in Portugal at the latest edition of the LUXE Global Awards, considered a global benchmark in the hospitality sector, highlighting the best hotels, restaurants and spas on the planet.
The distinctions underline the unique identity of this five-star hotel, which combines proximity to the sea and Cascais' historic centre with an offering focused on comfort and escape.
In the romantic category, the organization highlighted the rooms with panoramic views over the Atlantic, the culinary offering at Element6 restaurant – focused on the fusion between seafood and charcoal-cooked cuisine – and the atmosphere of O’Mast Cocktail Bar & Lounge at sunset. On the leisure front, the slow-down experience provided by spaces such as the Deck das Rochas and the proximity to the seafront promenade and local beaches made all the difference.
