Sure, Chicago's summertime bar scene is unparalleled, but sometimes you want to take the party back to your place. We asked some of our favorite cocktail bars to spill their best drink recipes that comprise five ingredients or fewer. These fruit-packed summer sippers are sure to impress, whether you're drinking solo on the porch or entertaining the masses on a rooftop.

Step up your bar game with these summer cocktails

Perfect for: A nightcap on the porch

1 1/2 oz grapefruit-infused gin
1 oz Luxardo aperitivo
1/2 oz sweet vermouth

Preparation: Combine all ingredients over ice and stir. Strain and serve over ice in a lowball glass.

Perfect for: Boozy brunch at home

3/4 oz mescal
1/4 oz crème de framboise
1/4 oz Old Bay tincture (heat grain alcohol and Old Bay seasoning, chill and strain)
1/4 oz cane syrup
Splash of cava

Preparation: Stir mescal, crème de framboise, Old Bay tincture and cane syrup in a champagne flute. Top with a splash of cava.

Perfect for: Backyard barbecue with friends

2 oz gooseberry-infused Singani 63 (let berries sit in Singani overnight and strain)
Juice from half a lime
1/2 oz ginger syrup (ginger juice mixed with sugar to taste)
1/4 oz simple syrup
Club soda

Preparation: Gently shake together all ingredients except club soda and strain into a collins glass with ice. Top with club soda and garnish with lime.
