Goose Island Salt Shed Pub

A Chicago institution since 1988, Goose Island expanded in 2024 with a new flagship brewpub next door to the Salt Shed. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it’s an ideal stop before or after a concert for a cold pint paired with solid pub fare.

The vibe: The space strikes a balance between industrial and inviting, with soaring ceilings, exposed brick and warm wood accents throughout. Windows and skylights flood the space with natural light, while the atmosphere is especially lively on concert nights.

The food: Think elevated bar food, including giardiniera-brined fried chicken and a mahi mahi banh mi. Classics like the smash burger and fish and chips are equally impressive. Be sure to save room for the Bourbon County Stout milkshake, a decadent dessert that’s a nod to one of Goose Island's most iconic beers.

The drinks: Goose Island's signature brews are all on tap, from 312 and Honker's Ale to Sofie and Bourbon County Stout. Rotating seasonal releases keep the lineup fresh, with new beers tapped every week.
