If you've walked down the street near the Radler and Emporium - Logan Square in the last few days, you may have noticed a row of surfboards lining the space next door at 2367 N Milwaukee Avenue. It's by the group at Emporium and it'll be called Surf—a bar/restaurant/fakeassbeach (their words, not mine) that is due to open next week.
"Beachy but not tiki" will be the theme for the cocktails, and rum and tequila will dominate the menu. Since it's Emporium, you can count on having beer, too—divided into "Locals," "Tourists" and "Beach Bums" for local beer, non-local craft beer and cheap beers, respectively. As far as food's concerned, expect pizzas, sandwiches, salads, wraps and other cheap menu items.
