Ping-Pong clubs haven't really taken off in Chicago the same way that arcade bars have, but there's a bit of innovation taking place at one of the houses of bounce. Today, AceBounce will launch its new Wonderball system, which turns the surface of an ordinary ping-pong table into a video game that keeps track of your score and offers a variety of new interactive experiences for multiple players.

Using a digital projector and projection mapping technology, the Wonderball table's surface becomes a giant screen that reacts to contact from a fluorescent ball. Players can try their hands at new games that integrate bouncing ball mechanics or partake in a regular, automatically-scored (!) game of Ping-Pong against a Tron-inspired backdrop.

Check out the video below to see the high-tech table in action, or stop by AceBounce to try it out for yourself.
