‘Book of Mormon’ cast members to perform benefit show at Sidetrack

Sidetrack’s popular Musical Mondays showtunes night will get an early start this Monday, July 25, when cast members from the touring production of The Book of Mormon, playing at the PrivateBank Theatre through August 14, appear in “The Book of Broadway on Halsted.” The benefit performance, running 7–9pm ahead of the usual Musical Mondays kickoff, will feature actors from the show performing a variety of tunes from musicals and movies. The $20 suggested donation goes to support Lambda Legal in what that organization rightly calls “a tumultuous summer” for the LGBT community. Expect an update on Lambda Legal’s work, as well as drink specials and prizes; you will need to RSVP in advance.
