Want a little free entertainment before you cheer on your favorite Chicago team this evening? Tonight, The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers will be performing in front of Wrigley Field at approximately 6pm in a gold-plated ice cream truck. Yes, you read that correctly. The pop-up concert is part of the Vegas Season promotion, which is sending the shiny "Ice Dream Truck" across the U.S. to extol the virtues of the nation's casino capital. Attendees will be able to line up in front of the truck to sample alcohol-infused ice cream treats as well as bites from Chicago chef and Las Vegas restaurateur Shawn McClain.

Those attending tonight's Cubs game will be able to see McClain throw out the first pitch and sing along with Flowers during the seventh inning stretch. The ice cream truck will be parked in front of Wrigley Field (near the Captain Morgan Club) between 4:30 and 7:30pm, so you'll have plenty of time to duck into a bar and watch the Blackhawks fight for the Stanley Cup. Flowers plays a full show September 11 at the Riviera Theatre in support of his second solo album, The Desired Effect.
