Some of the best barbecue in the country is coming back to Chicago all the way from Austin, Texas. Land and Sea Dept. (Cherry Circle Room, Parson’s Chicken and Fish, Longman & Eagle) is partnering with Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue, who will be serving up some of his famous smoked meats—without the three hour waits that routinely plague his Austin restaurant.

On July 1, 2 and 3, Franklin and his team will bring barbecue, beer and good times to the Land and Sea Dept. studio (3124 W Carroll) in Garfield Park. Tickets include food and beverages and will set you back $100—they go on sale this Friday, June 17 at noon via Ticketfly.

Last year the series of dinners with the James Beard Award-winning chef sold out in less than three minutes—you’ll want to get your hands on these as quickly as possible.
