Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced this morning that Glenn Davis is the newest member of the company’s renowned ensemble.

Davis, an actor, most recently appeared as Pastor Joshua in Steppenwolf’s winter production of The Christians by Lucas Hnath. He previously performed with Steppenwolf in The Brother/Sister Plays and Head of Passes, and in the Steppenwolf for Young Adults (then known as Steppenwolf Arts Exchange) productions of A Lesson Before Dying and The Bluest Eye. He’ll appear next winter in Steppenwolf’s Chicago premiere of You Got Older by Clare Barron, alongside fellow ensemble members Caroline Neff and Audrey Francis.

Davis becomes the company’s 49th ensemble member, and the fifth to join the company since Anna D. Shapiro became artistic director in 2015, along with Neff, Francis, Sandra Marquez and Namir Smallwood. Davis is a Chicago native and an alum of the Theatre School at DePaul University.
