Louis C.K. doesn't usually give much notice when he announces shows in Chicago, and the abrupt reveal of his latest string of dates is no exception to that rule. According to the comedian's email newsletter, Louis is returning to the Chicago Theatre for a pair of shows on October 4 and 5. Just like Louis's past shows at the theater, all tickets are $50 (before fees) and are available right now via the comedian's website.

Louis has been touring heavily in 2016, refining his latest set and recently performing a sold-out set at Madison Square Garden, where the usually black T-Shirt and jeans-favoring comic donned a suit. With his FX show Louie on an "extended hiatus," this pair of shows will likely be the only way to get a taste of Louis's biting, observational humor (unless he decides to release another star-studded web series, a la Horace and Pete). As usual, these shows will probably be sold out within an hour (or less)—so act fast if you want to laugh your ass off with Louis in two weeks.
