The Museum of Contemporary Art has joined forces with the hipster tastemakers at Pitchfork to present a series of conversations with musicians dubbed "In Sight Out." Each live interview will pair a member of the Pitchfork staff with a notable musician for a lively chat about the artistic process and the state of modern music, art and culture.

The first conversation takes place on July 16 and will feature Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy being interviewed onstage by Pitchfork Editor-in-Chief Mark Richardson (unfortunately, tickets are already sold out). On October 30, Sleater Kinney guitarist and Portlandia star Carrie Brownstein will speak with Pitchfork Senior Editor Jessica Hopper—you can purchases tickets for that conversation when they go on sale at 10am on September 15. Even if you can't be there in person, we would be shocked if videos of these talks didn't appear on Pitchfork's website at some point.
