Seeing a movie on the big screen at the Music Box Theatre is already a unique experience, but its annual 70mm Film Festival makes catching a flick in its spacious theater even more special. Today, the theater announced the lineup of screenings for the 2017 edition of the fest, which takes place from June 30–July 13.

For the uninitiated, 70mm refers to the size of the film used project each film. The larger format allows for bigger projections, more vibrant colors and additional details that might not be visible in digital or 35mm screenings of a movie. The Music Box is one of the only remaining theaters in the country that has the equipment required to screen 70mm films.

The screening series kicks off with Stanley Kubrick's mind-bending sci-fi classic, 2001: A Space Odyssey, which is being presented on a newly commissioned 70mm print that will join the Music Box's permanent collection. Other highlights include Steven Spielberg's 1991 Peter Pan adaptation, Hook, and a rare 70mm screening of Disney's 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. If you're looking for something a bit more contemporary, the festival also includes screenings of the recent monster movie Kong: Skull Island and Christopher Nolan's Interstellar.

Admission to each screening is $12 (with the exception of 2001: A Space Odyssey, which will run you $14) and a festival pass is available for $75. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 26 at noon. Check out the complete schedule of extra-large 70mm Film Festival screenings below.
