Chicago has some sweet hotels. We know that already—it’s part of why we were so excited to research the best staycations earlier this year. This month, Travel + Leisure’s readers showed us they also appreciate the fine digs our city offers. In addition to ranking Chicago the seventh best city in the U.S. for the second year in a row, the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2016 readers’ survey also revealed the city’s top hotels. It may come as no surprise that The Langham, ranked as the top hotel in the country last year by TripAdvisor, comes out on top of this list, but you may be in for a couple of surprises, including at least one very new hotel on the list. While we'd add a couple of places if it was up to us (have you been to the Virgin or the rooms above Longman & Eagle?), we suggest you take a look at what’s right here in our very own city before you plan your next weekend getaway

The top 10 hotels in Chicago, according to Travel + Leisure:

10. Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

9. The Gwen

8. The James

7. The Acme

6. Thompson Chicago

5. Godfrey Hotel

4. The Peninsula Chicago

3. Waldorf Astoria Chicago

2. Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago

1. The Langham
