Top Chef champ and local restaurateur (Girl and the Goat, Little Goat) Stephanie Izard commemorated the start of Chinese New Year with a cryptic tease of her latest project. Duck Duck Goat is slated to open at 857 W Fulton Market later this summer, serving up a variety of Asian-inspired dishes. The teaser video released by Izard's team (see it below) depicts a variety of noodles, steamed buns, skewered meats and Chinese pancakes, so it's not difficult to imagine what the menu may consist of.
Will Izard's newest project draw some of the crowds away from Girl and the Goat, making it possible to make a reservation at the popular Randolph Street restaurant without a three-month lead? Probably not.
