If your summer bucket list included moshing along to "Chop Suey," your dreams will come true in September. This morning, Riot Fest announced a second wave of headliners, including reunited heavy metal group System of a Down and seminal British electronic act The Prodigy. Chicago hardcore punks 88 Fingers Louie and Dutch pop outfit Chef’Special have also been added to the bill. With the addition of a mainstream rock band and a rave-friendly EDM act, the formerly punk-oriented event is continuing to expand its horizons and attempting to match the variety offered by festivals like Lollapalooza.

Today also marked the launch of Riot Fest's ticket layaway plan, allowing attendees to secure a general admission pass with just three payments of $66.66. If you don't have the dough to drop on a regular ticket, it's a sensible way to secure your spot in Douglas Park in September.
