1. Bike down LSD

Cars, trucks and all motorized vehicles will be banished from Lake Shore Drive for a few hours this weekend. Hop on a bike and watch the sunrise as you coast along the shore. (Bike the Drive Route, Lake Shore Drive, Sun 5:30am. $50)

2. Shop for treasures

Dive into more than 300 vendors selling everything from vintage fur hats to rare vinyl records. This weekend will be Randolph Street Market’s biggest show; so make sure you don’t miss all the goodies. (Beaux Arts Plumbers Union Hall Building, 1340 W Washington Blvd, Sat–Sun 10am. $10)

3. Sip beers in the park

Closing out Chicago Craft Beer Week, this Welles Park celebration hosts more than 60 breweries serving up samples. Soak up the sun and wash down snacks with ice-cold beer. (Welles Park, 4400 N Lincoln Ave, Sat 1–5pm. $60)

4. Get a dose of EDM

As electronic dance music continues to grow, it's important to remember that Chicago is the birthplace of house music. Honoring this history, the city is throwing the Chicago House Party, which will feature performances by House Legacy Project, Peven Everett and the Vick Lavender Ensemble. (Pritzker Pavillion, 205 E Randolph St, Sat 3pm. Free)

5. Celebrate the Irish

It’s not March but if you’d like a St. Patrick’s Day do-over head to the Gaelic Park Irish Fest. The day will be filled with Irish dancing, lots of beer, petting zoos and Irish folklore storytellers. (Gaelic Park, 6119 W 147th St, Fri-Sun various times. $15 adult, $12 senior, child)
