Rum, bourbon and gin dominate the Heavy Feather's new menu, which the bar is set to start slinging tonight. Gin drinkers should look for the Currant Affairs with Scofflaw Old Tom Gin, Cocchi Americano, crème de cassis, lime and egg white or the Paradise Punch with gin, Aperol, allspice liqueur and a whole bunch of citrus on the specialty cocktails menu, or head for the classic Singapore Sling with gin, Cherry Heering and benedictine and Martinez on the classics menu.

Bourbon fans can head straight for the classic Boulevardier and Monte Carlo, or try a New York Sour, a classic that actually finds its origins in Chicago. Rum drinkers will have no problem finding a cocktail on the menu, whether it's the Primo Piña (a twist on the classic piña colada), the Orange Whip topped with orange whipped cream or the classic Voyager.

We're looking forward to a few of the other originals, too, like the Basil Julep with Canadian whiskey, Fernet Branca, blackberry, lemon and basil and the Songbird, with blanco tequila, mescal, Gran Classico, Verdita Rosa and lime.

Whether you're looking for a break from the Old Styles and Tecates of Slippery Slope (they're still on the menu upstairs) or want to give your dancing feet a rest after strutting your stuff on the dance floor below, the Heavy Feather's new menu's got an abundance of options for summer. Check out the full menus below.
