The three best things to do today in Chicago

1. Get thunderstruck

AC/DC returns to Chicago for a pyrotechnics-filled show at the United Center. The classic rockers are touring in support of their latest album (yes, they're still making new music), Rock or Bust. (United Center, 1901 W Madison St, 7:30pm. $115–$140)

2. Be one with the trap queen

On the other end of the big concert spectrum is Fetty Wap, who will undoubtedly be playing his summer club hit "Trap Queen" at the House of Blues tonight, along with other singles like "My Way," "679" and "Again." (House of Blues Chicago / Live Nation, 329 N Dearborn St, 5pm. $38.50)

3. Aaahh! Real monsters!

Catch a glimpse of an art movement that's uniquely Midwestern. "Monster Roster" brings together work from artists whose shared reverence for mythology and ancient art is collected in an existentialist-leaning exhibit. (Smart Museum of Art, 5550 S Greenwood Ave, 10am. Free)
