 1. Go to Chicago’s biggest drag show of the year

Sidetrack hosts its annual Dragapalooza (formerly known as Night of 100 Drag Queens) tonight and tomorrow night. Prepare to be dazzled and hopefully a little overwhelmed. (Sidetrack, 3349 N Halsted St, 7pm. $15-$25)

2. Dig into the history of body art

The Field Museum’s latest exhibit, Tattoo, examines the cultural and historical significance of tattoos around the world. The exhibit even features a real tattoo parlor, where artists will be inking up guests. (Field Museum, 1400 S Lake Shore Dr, 9am—5pm. Included in museum Discovery and All-Access tickets)

3. Feel feelings with Frankie Cosmos

Indie rock wunderkind Frankie Cosmos takes the stage at Thalia Hall tonight. The 22-year-old has a knack for honest lyricism and compelling melodies. (Thalia Hall, 1807 S Allport St, 7:30pm. $18)
