The three best things to do today in Chicago

1. Find a new Fabitat

This all-inclusive LGBT drag show is one of the best (and only) drag shows in Wicker Park. The best part? This Wednesday night party will seem more like a Friday night out for most, with a Thanksgiving feast to soak up the booze the next day. (Double Door's Door No. 3, 1572 N Milwaukee Ave, 9pm. Free)

2. Explore an odd world

Browse this new collection of surrealist art at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Featuring more than 100 paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs, “The Conjured Life” includes works from celebrated figures such as Max Ernst, René Magritte and Jeff Koons. (Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E Chicago Ave, 10am–5pm. $12 suggested admission)

3. Go Greek

Agamemnon is a new adaptation of an ancient play older than the hills, but just as beautiful. The Court Theatre's version of the 2,500-year-old tragedy is part of a trilogy that neatly combines multiple Greek tales. In this rendition, Greek general Agamemnon returns home from the Trojan War only to face the consequences of a curse on his family, the House of Atreus. (Court Theatre, 5535 S Ellis Ave, 7:30pm. $45-$65)
