That’s Weird, Grandma takes stories written by CPS students and transforms them into hilarious (and surprisingly heartfelt) skits and songs. (Neo-Futurarium, 5153 N Ashland Ave, 8pm. $12, kids under 12 $6.)
3. Go full Christmas
Christkindlmarket is going full-steam ahead towards Christmas, so head down to Daley Plaza for a mug of spiced wine and some strudel. It’s one of the best parts of the holidays in the city and we've already picked out all of the best things to eat, drink and buy at Christkindlmarket. (Daley Plaza, 50 W Washington St, 11am-8pm.
